Two new choir members join us on stage for the first time for a public performance.
It’s debut night for new choir members Gwyn Williams and Stephen Voros. At a Charity concert in aid of St. Kentigern Hospice, St Asaph, at a packed St Dyfnog Church,Llanrhaeadr, near Denbigh.
Gwyn Williams is a singer of vast experience. A member of Denbigh’s ‘Meibion Twm O’r Nant’ for over twenty years. He is also well-known for his yodelling songs at many concerts and social occasions.
Finally, Gwyn has given in to the many requests to join the choir. We are delighted with his presence in the second tenor section at long last.
Stephen Voros likes opera, orchestral and jazz music. A capable trumpet player, and has appearances with Rhyl Musical Theatre in productions at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre under his belt.
Read more about Stephen as he features in the Choir Member Profile series on the new choir website.
Charity Concerts
Once again, we are pleased to support St Kentigern’s Hospice with their fund raising activities.
If your organisation would like to consider booking the choir for a charity concert make sure you make contact in plenty of time.
In the first place, we receive many requests and, to avoid disappointment, plan your charity concert months in advance.
